日本の最北端に位置する北海道は雄大な自然や海の幸にも山の幸にも恵まれた所です。世界自然遺産の知床や富良野のラベンダー畑、日本三大夜景の一つである函館山からの夜景などの観光名所に加え、新鮮な海鮮料理やジンギスカン、石狩鍋など数え切れないほど魅力にあふれています。また、厳しい冬の寒さのイメージがあるかもしれませんが、住居は寒さへの対策が万全な造りとなっており、夏は湿度も低く気温も比較的涼しいため、過ごしやすい環境となっています。

There are many attractive points in Hokkaido. Hokkaido has lots of beautiful nature and sightseeing spots. Also, there are many delicious meals such as fresh seafood dishes, and one-pot dish called “ishikari nabe”.
