鳥取県について知ろう！！
鳥取県の場所
鳥取県と言われてると鳥取砂丘が頭の中にはすぐに思い浮かぶと思いますが、
みなさんは鳥取県がどこにあるのかご存知ですか？
鳥取県は前回紹介した広島県と同じ中国地方にある県の一つです。
画像では分かりませんが、鳥取県は兵庫県の隣に位置し日本海に面している県でもあります。
現在鳥取県で実施している新型コロナウイルス対策
鳥取県は感染者数が少ない県として知られていますが、どんな対策を行っているのでしょうか？
現在、鳥取県では新型コロナウイルスの対策として企業にはテレワークやオンライン会議を推奨しています。
また、鳥取県庁は「鳥取型オフィスシステム」を促進しています。
このシステムでは
- 人と人が対面せず机配置を同じ向きにする（教室形式）
- オフィスの机の間に仕切りを設置する
など様々な工夫がなされています。
名産品・観光地
- 梨
鳥取県庁によると全国卸売数の70%が鳥取県が占め全国１位の卸売数を誇るそうです！
二十世紀梨にはクエン酸など疲労回復に効果がある成分が含まれているので、旬の時期である8月下旬から9月下旬にかけての夏バテ気味の体を助ける効果も期待できます！！
鳥取県は日本海に面しているため、新鮮な海の幸も堪能できることが魅力の一つです。
冬の味覚を代表する松葉ガニは11月から3月にかけて漁が行われ、鳥取県松葉がにPR推進協議会では11月の第４土曜日を「松葉がにの日」とし鳥取市などでイベントを開催されています！
鳥取砂丘ではただ砂丘見て楽しむだけなく砂丘ならではのアクテビティが楽しめます。
例えば、ラクダに乗って砂丘を遊覧したり記念撮影することができます！その他にも砂丘で朝日、夕日、満月など様々な景色を見たがらできる砂丘ヨガを開催されています。
鳥取県は住みやすい県？
鳥取県は住みやすい県と言えます！！
なぜなら、鳥取県では様々な支援策を用意し県民にとって住みやすさと働きやすさを提供しています。
自然に囲まれた生活
鳥取県には山、川、海といった自然豊かな県です。そのため山の幸や海の幸などの地元で取れた新鮮な食材を手に入れることができます。また、自然がたくさんあるだけでなく中心部に行くと交通網が発展しているため毎日の通勤や買い物には便利です。
幅広い世代を応援する支援が充実
鳥取県では県の活性化に力を入れて取り組んでいますが、シニア世代の方々への支援も充実しています。例えば、鳥取県庁によると県民の活躍の場を提供する支援としてシニア世代の方々の再雇用とニーズに応じた活躍の場の提供を行っています。

Where is Tottori Prefecture?
Do you know where Tottri Prefecture is?
I think that Tottori Prefecture is known as the place where Tottori sand dunes are located.
But! I guess many people do not know the location of Tottori Prefecure.
I will explain where Tottori is.
Here is the map.
Tottori Prefecture is one of the Chugoku regions as the same as Hiroshima Prefecture where I introduced the last time.
Not visible in the image, but it is located next to Hyogo Prefecture and faces the Sea of Japan.
What does Tottori Prefecure government implenment measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus now?
Tottori Prefecture is known as a prefecture with a low number of infected people.
What does Tottori Prefecure government do to avoid increasing the number of infected poeple?
Currently, they take measures to work from thier homes and to hold conferences online to avoid spreading new coronavirus.
They also promote the “Tottori Office System”.

- Making sure that the desks are placed in the same direction without facing each other (classroom style)
- Putting partitions among office desks
Various devices have been considered in Tottori Prefecture.
Specialty・Leisure Venue
- Japanese Pear
In Tottori Prefecture, Japanese pears are famous as a specialty.
Especially, the type of pear named 20th century pear is known well.
Japanese pears are kind of different from pears that made in other countries.
This is because Japanese pears look like apples as shown in the image.
According to Tottori Prefecture government, Tottori Prefecture accounts for 70% of the total wholesale sales. This is the highest market share percentage in Japan!!
This pear' s the best season is from late August to late September.
In addition, it contains nutritions such as citric acid that is effective in recovering from fatigue, and thus you can expect to help your body that get tired because of summer heat.
- Matsuba Crab
Matsuba crab is a kind of snow crab and considered as a representative winter delicacy in Japan.
Matsuba crabs are fished from November to March and the events are usually held on Tottori City and other cities on the 4th Saturday of November because the 4th Saturday of November is said "the day of Matsuba crab"!!
If you livied in Tottori or visit there, you can enjoy eating your fill of Matsuba crab.
- Tottori Sand Dunes
As I mentioned before, Tottori Prefecture is famous for Tottori Sand Dunes.
In this sand dunes, you can not only enjoy viewing the dunes but also the unique activities.
For example, you can ride a camel to view the dunes and take a photo with the camel!
In addition, dune yoga classes are held at the dunes and you can enjoy various views such as the sunrise, sunset, and full moon via Yoga classes.
Is Tottori Prefecture a livable town?
The ansewer is "YES"!!
Tottori Prefecture government provide comfortable environments for residents.
Let me explain why Tottori Prefecure is livable.
Life Surrounded by Nature
Tottori Prefecture is the place that is surrounded by beautiful nature such as sea or mountain. Therefore, you can eat fresh local food such as seafood.
Moreover, you can easily access to go shopping and commute because the transportation network is improved at the central town.
Replete Support for Foreigners
Tottori Prefecture government promote that companies accept foreigners and publish the information about job offers for foreigers.
In addition, they have established the contact for foreign human resources in 2019.
In short, they already ready to provide the livable environment where foreigners can work.
